Lone Child

I was preparing lectures on "Ableism and Healthcare Access" and came across this lonely boy profile - very familiar with this posture and couldn't help but post it. This photo was posted by Tonia Christle - recognizing "Ableism" and why it is harmful. We need to educate our young ones from preschool age to school-age - elementary through middle and high school. Disable persons are full beings, intelligent and extraordinary, and they have much to give society. We need to be smart and start infusing empathy and love back into our children and community. We will wake up one day and find animals instead of human beings living next to us, working with us, and sitting next to us in our places of worship or other public arenas.
